Code of Conduct

The Uune community is intended to be an inclusive and welcoming space, and as part of that we have a set of rules and guidelines which will be enforced in all official community spaces. These rules are subject to improvements and revisions over time, but the spirit of them will remain the same.

Guidelines are looser rules, intended to be more broadly applicable to general interactions. Rules are strict and clear, and will be enforced much more exactly.

In the Event of a Problem

Generally, it is the policy of this community that any issues which can be resolved civilly should be resolved as such. Sometime people have a bad day, or are unaware that something they are doing is harmful or offensive. People make mistakes, and if you see someone acting in a way which goes against these guidelines, please feel free to advise them in a way that is constructive and kind.

For everything else, please feel free to reach out to a member of the moderation staff. Message links and/or timestamps are appreciated if possible.

Escalation Policy

While most issues should be able to be handled with grace, sometimes it is necessary to escalate the consequences of infractions against the community. For that reason, we have the following policy:

  1. For first time offenses, a verbal warning will be issued.
  2. For repeated issues, a temporary mute will be issued.
  3. For continued problems or major infractions, a permanent ban may be issued. Depending on the severity of the issue, this may be with or without warning.

Community Spaces

These are official community spaces, for general interaction and discussion.
